Apprenticeship 101 Business Information Event Scheduled

The Maryland Apprenticeship Innovation Fund was established to provide seed money to businesses and apprenticeship providers committed to creating new apprenticeship opportunities to meet their workforce needs.
Registered apprenticeships are voluntary, industry-driven programs sponsored by employers, employer associations, and jointly by management and labor. Apprenticeships combine supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related technical instruction to teach apprentices the skills necessary to succeed in a specific occupation.
An Apprenticeship 101 Business information event -
Grow Your Workforce - is being held on Monday, September 25th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Allegany College of Maryland, Continuing Education Room 12-14.
This will be a practical session for businesses looking to invest in their current and future workforce. The program provides grant funding and tax credits, asd well as assistance from experts in apprenticeship to tailor programs to your business needs.
