According to the FCC, the counties with the least-available access are Garrett (32.9%), Allegany (22.3%), and Charles County on the eastern side (21.9%).

Beginning with the fall 2019 semester, students receiving scholarship support from the county-funded program must earn a 2.5 GPA each semester in order to continue receiving funding.

As a Statewide and Health Manpower program, students from across Maryland who wish to study in this associate degree program can attend Garrett College at its in-county tuition rate.
