Local dignitaries including county Commissioners Paul Edwards and Jim Hinebaugh congratulated owner Steve Stuck and his staff. Members of the Garrett County Diplomats Committee including Chairman Connor Norman, Wayne Hatcher, Steve Bortz and Julie Mead, presented Stuck with a First Dollar of Profit Certificate.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to open this showroom so that the people of Garrett County and the surrounding area will have a place to select high-quality fireplaces and outdoor kitchen equipment,” Stuck said. “This will be a nice addition to our other local businesses which include Oakland Oil & Propane
, Deep Creek Mountain Utilities and the Grantsville Exxon. Thank you to all our employees and loyal customers for their part in making this new venture possible. We welcome everyone to stop by and visit the new showroom.”
Deep Creek Fireplace & Outdoor Store has more than 20 live burning fireplaces on display and offer new propane grill cylinders and an onsite filling station.
