Former Employees of Verso Luke LLC located in Luke, MD, and affiliated locations.

A Trade Petition was filed on behalf of impacted workers from Verso and has recently been certified. As a former employee of Verso MD, you may be eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) under Petition #94771 if your employment at Verso ended on or after April 30, 2018. We know that this will have a huge impact on each employee that is affected by this event.

During this period of transition from your current employment to entering the job market, there are resources available to you. These services are free of charge.  We encourage you to take advantage of these services which include job referrals, unemployment insurance, career consultations, and Trade Adjustment Assistance.  If you would like to learn more about the benefits offered by the Trade Act Program we will be hosting an information session exclusively for Verso impacted workers.

Register for a session by enrolling in the Maryland Workforce Exchange and signing up for the event time and date on the Events Calendar.  To enroll and register for an event, visit this website d.gowww.mwejobs.marylanv (Maryland Workforce Exchange).  The orientation will start promptly at the scheduled time.  Allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for the session which includes time for questions.  Please RSVP as soon as possible.
