Last Updated on Mar 16, 2020 at 10:19am | Business Resources

The Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is committed to serving its clients during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) health emergency, while maintaining a safe environment for its clients and staff.

Following are adjustments the SBDC is making to its service delivery during this health emergency.

Offices:

Over the next three to six weeks, and possibly beyond, most of its office locations will be closed to the public; that may soon change to all office locations being closed to the public as this crisis unfolds. Please, no walk-ins.

Also, please note that all SBDC offices are hosted by Maryland colleges and universities, which, at various times during March, may be closed for 2 to 5 days, depending on the institution, for Spring Break.

Consulting Services:

New clients can request consulting assistance through its website at www.marylandsbdc.org. Continuing clients may continue to contact their consultant by phone, web conference, or email.

Training:

All in-person training scheduled during the month of March will be canceled, postponed or offered online. If a paid training class is canceled or postponed, participants may request a refund or apply the funds to another class. If the class will be offered online, registered participants will receive an email with instructions for participating in the online class.

Online Resources:

Please visit the Maryland SBDC website at www.marylandsbdc.org to access resources that can assist you in starting, growing and maintaining your small business.
