Albers Aerospace Buys Garrett Container Systems

Garrett Container Systems, Inc. (GCS) located in Accident, Maryland, is pleased to announce it has been acquired by Albers Aerospace (Albers), a leading service-disabled veteran owned defense contractor located in McKinney, Texas.
 
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Albers, GCS will maintain operations in Accident, Maryland, and be part of a larger organization with facilities across 28 states.
 
GCS is an ISO 9001-2015 and HUBZone certified small business established in 1991 as a manufacturer of aluminum storage and shipping containers. GCS is the leading manufacturer of highly engineered aluminum storage and shipping containers and tactical kits.  As a subsidiary of Albers Aerospace, GCS can maintain its upward growth trajectory and remain poised for continued growth with many military programs.
 
Albers Aerospace provides services and solutions in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Aviation Services markets, creating unique products that enable WarFighters to dominate in their mission areas.

Don and Liz Morin, who started GCS in 1991 credit the success to locating in Garrett County, Maryland, where they were welcomed by a supportive community, the Garrett County Board of Commissioners, Economic Development, Delegate Wendell Beitzel and Senator George Edwards and Representative Roscoe Bartlett. The Commissioners and state representatives have remained a source of support for over 30 years.
 
Most of all, GCS would not be in the position it is today without the superior workforce it has.
