Maryland Nonprofits invites organizations interested in strengthening their capacity to grow and scale up their impact to apply to participate in the free Nonprofit Accelerator Cohort Programs.
Throughout November, Walmart encouraged generous shoppers to donate food and funds to support Garrett County Community Action's emergency and supplemental food programs.
The fund will provide loan and grant assistance to Washington, Allegany, and Garrett counties for economic development projects.

Four Garrett County projects were awarded funding through the Rural Maryland Economic Development Fund.
The Fund prioritizes two sets of initiatives that employers can consider implementing in their workplace: Employee Support Programs and Payroll Incentives.
