Commissioners Present Garrett County Habitat for Humanity With 40th Anniversary Proclamation

At its public meeting on April 18, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners for Garrett County, Maryland presented a proclamation to Steve Bortz, Director of Garrett County Habitat for Humanity, Inc.
, recognizing and celebrating Habitat's 40th anniversary. Also taking part in the recognition were Habitat Board members Ron Tressler, Jessica Dijack, Robin McGill, and Tonya Sturm.
Founded in 1983, Habitat's volunteers, families, and staff have worked diligently with its ongoing mission to eliminate impoverished housing and homelessness in Garrett County.
Habitat's Home Store, located at 5411 Hutton Road, Oakland, Maryland, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
