The Maryland Business Opportunity Center (MBOC) addresses the challenges that preclude significant portions of the Maryland community from effectively accessing local, regional, and national business resources; most immediately to help them overcome the pandemic-related challenges they now confront.
 
Operated by the University of Maryland and partnered by the Maryland Small Business Development Center, the MBOC' focuses on connecting public and private organizations to work with socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDIs) and business owners to generate access to capital and business opportunities for economic prosperity.
